The idea
Pith is the white layer inside citrus that people peel off and toss — even though it's the nourishing part that holds the whole fruit together. That's the promise: the overlooked substance underneath the surface.
Every packet models the thinking, not just the conclusion. "How do we know?" is the house question.
We teach the honest version of each side and let kids reason for themselves. No outrage bait, no spin — just what's true and how we know it.

Where the packets come from
When a state rewrites what schools teach, some things get added — and others quietly lose their place: the context, the counter-argument, the fuller story.
Pith reads the changes to Texas's curriculum, finds each of those gaps, and builds a packet that patches it — so a kid gets the whole picture, not just the part that was left in. We're beginning with Texas because that's where the change is happening now. Many packets work anywhere, and we're adding evergreen ones as we go.
